Note: The reference zone remains under construction. As of 07/01/98, most pre-1998 references are installed. We know we've missed some (we've missed some of the ones I've written). We will try to add missed references as time goes by. Then we'll start on the 1998 references. Please bear with us, this is quite a job. The entrance is below, at the bottom of the page.
Introduction
- The references relevant to the treatment of subsurface contaminants using permeable reactive barrier technologies are increasing in number every day. Although there is no way to keep a summary table fully current, we have attempted to provide a large number of references that depict the state-of-the-art in permeable reactive barrier research and technology up to the end of 1997. As time permits, we will expand the table into 1998 and attempt to correct omissions from the previous years. Due to the complexity of developing these summaries, we do not guarantee their accuracy. They are intended only as guideposts to information that you might find useful. Please obtain the original articles to which the summaries are referent rather than relying on the veracity of these tables. There is no warranty, either expressed or implied, accompanying the use of these tables.
Omissions, Submissions & Clarifications
- We at Powell & Associates would like to invite authors, colleagues and the users of these summary reference tables to submit omitted references, new submissions, and clarifications to us for inclusion in the tables during the next version upgrade. If you wish to add a reference, please keep it in the domain of PRB research and field studies, nonduplicative of another paper from the same author (e.g. don't add a proceeding that doesn't contribute additional information beyond the peer-reviewed publication already listed), and please synopsize the reference as has been done in the table. You may then submit your reference either in the body of an email or as an attached Mac or PC Word or WordPerfect file to rpowell@powellassociates.com.
Thank you very much. -- Robert M. Powell
